Service Description
Spend a full day exploring the lush rainforest of Bijagua, a beautiful mountain region about two hours from Playa Potrero, where you’ll have the chance to see sloths, monkeys, toucans, frogs, and even the endangered tapir in their natural habitat. Enjoy an easy, guided hike through a private 10-acre nature reserve, followed by a traditional Costa Rican lunch and refreshments. On the return journey, visit Los Pumas Animal Sanctuary, where you can see rescued jaguars, sloths, monkeys, parrots, and crocodiles. The tour runs approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., includes private transportation, the rainforest hike, animal sanctuary visit, lunch and refreshments, and costs $130 per person with a 4-person minimum.
